Cryolipolysis problem

What is cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis uses a cooling process to provide a non-invasive localized fat reduction in problem areas of the body.

Cryolipolysis is suitable for shaping the abdomen, waist, arms, back, knees, and inner thighs. The cooling technology will penetrate approximately 2cm below the surface of the skin and is a very effective way to treat and reduce cellulite.

What is the principle behind cryolipolysis?

The principle behind cryolipolysis is to break down fat cells by freezing them. Because fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than surrounding cells, fat cells are frozen before the surrounding tissue is affected. The machine precisely controls the temperature so there is no collateral damage. Once frozen, the cells are eventually flushed away by the body's normal metabolic processes.

Is cryolipolysis painful?

Both fat freezing and cavitation are non-invasive and do not require anesthesia. The treatment results in a dramatic and long-lasting reduction of localized fat deposits in a painless procedure. No side effects and no scarring.

How is cryolipolysis different from other fat loss techniques?

Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical liposuction procedure. It is painless. No downtime or recovery time, no cuts or scars.

Is cryolipolysis a new concept?

The science behind cryolipolysis is not new. It was inspired by the observation that children who habitually smoke popsicles develop dimples in their cheeks. It is here that it is noted that this is due to a local inflammatory process that occurs within the fat cells due to freezing. Ultimately, this causes the fat cells in the cheek area to be destroyed and become the cause of the dimple. Interestingly, children can reproduce fat cells, but adults cannot.

What exactly happened during treatment?

During the procedure, your doctor will identify the area of fat to be treated and cover it with a cool gel pad to protect the skin. Then place a large cup-shaped applicator over the treated area. A vacuum is then applied through this cup, eventually sucking in the fat rolls to be treated. You'll feel a tight pulling sensation, similar to applying a vacuum seal, and you may feel a slight chill in the area. For the first ten minutes, the temperature inside the cup is gradually reduced until it reaches an operating temperature of -7 or -8 degrees Celsius; in this way, the fat cells in the cup area are frozen. The Cup applicator will stay in place for up to 30 minutes.

How long does the procedure take?

In most cases, one treatment area takes 30 to 60 minutes, requiring little downtime. Multiple treatments are usually required to achieve satisfactory results. There are two applicators so two areas can be treated at the same time - such as the love handle.

What will happen after treatment?

After removing the cup applicator, you may feel a slight burning sensation as the temperature in the area returns to normal. You will notice that the area is slightly deformed and possibly bruised as a result of being sucked and frozen. Your doctor will massage it back to a more normal appearance. Any redness should disappear within the next few minutes/hours, while localized bruising should disappear within a few weeks. You may also experience temporary dullness or numbness that lasts 1 to 8 weeks.

Are there any side effects or complications?

Freezing fat for volume reduction has been shown to be a safe procedure and is not associated with any long-term side effects. Sufficient fat is always present to cushion and smooth the outer edges of the treated area.

How soon will I notice the results?

Some people report feeling or seeing a difference as early as a week after treatment, but this is unusual. Before always taking photos to review and track your progress

Which parts are suitable for cryolipolysis?

Typical target areas include:

abdomen - upper

abdomen - lower

arm - up

Back - Bra strap area

Buttocks - Saddle

Hips – Banana Rolls

Flank - Love Grip

Hips: Muffin Top

knee

man boobs

Stomach

thigh - inside

thigh - outside

waist

What is the recovery time?

There is no downtime or recovery time. You can resume normal activities immediately

How many sessions are needed?

An average healthy body requires 3-4 treatments every 4-6 weeks

How long will the effect last and will the fat return?

Once fat cells are destroyed, they are gone forever. Only children can regenerate fat cells
